WHO IS HIRAM ABIFF ?

The idea that lies behind the Hiramic legend is as old as religious thinking among men. The same elements existed in the story of Osiris, which was celebrated by the Egyptians in their ancient temples: the old Persians told it concerning Mithras, their hero god. In Syria, the Dionysian Mysteries had the very same elements in the story of Dionysius: for the Romans, Bacchus was the god who died and lived again. There is also the story of Tammuz, older than any of these. These are collectively referred to as the ancient mysteries.  There were celebrated by secret societies, much like ours, with allegorical ceremonies, during which the initiates were advanced from one degree to another in these old societies. Read these old stories for yourself and marvel how men in all ages have taught the same great truths in the same effective way. An example of the Satanic rites that were participated in by members of the mystery religions can be seen in this quote from the Dictionary of Satanism by Wade Baskin:

DIONYSUS (BACCHUS, LIBER) In classical mythology, the god of wine and fertility. His cult was widespread in Thrace, where the Thracian women were particularly dedicated to his orgiastic rites. The women, Maenads, in their ecstatic frenzy, abandoned their homes, roamed the fields and hillsides, dancing, swinging their flaming torches. In their passion they caught and tore apart animals, sometimes even children, and devoured the flesh, thus acquiring communion with the divinity ..... Modern scholars surmise that memories of the cult of Dionysus survived and influenced the Sabbat. In animal form, the Greek deity sometimes appeared as a goat. At Eleutherai he was called Melanaigis, 'he with the black goatskin.' Like other fertility deities, he was associated with the underworld. He was attended by satyrs, lustful goat- spirits, for whom he served as the object of orgiastic rites.

The next piece of documentation from a Masonic source will be taken from the book published by Macoy Publishing and Masonic Supply Company, The Ancient Mysteries and Modern Masonry, by Rev. Charles H. Vail, 32 who was, believe it or not, a so called  preacher who served a pastorate at the Pullman Memorial Church at Albion, N.Y.. This 32 Mason equates Hiram Abiff with with Sun Worship. These statements from his book are undeniably clear.

Masonry has a truer conception than any exoteric religion, for these religions take the symbol for the thing symbolized, but Masonry, in making the candidate impersonate Hiram, has preserved the original teaching. Hiram is identical with the Sun-Gods of all nation-it is a universal qlyph, for all real Initiation is an internal process, a regeneration, the consummation of which is the Perfect Man or Master, the goal of human evolution. The Hiram Legend and the Master's Degree are derived from the Mysteries. They are the latest expression of the old Sun Myth and the Ancient Rite. We see thus that the story of Hiram is but a variation of the ancient and universal legend, in which Osiris, Adonis, Dionysus, Balder, Hu, and many more have played the principal part.

A person with a very limited knowledge of the Bible should know worship of other gods is forbidden and Sun-worship was one of the sins that brought the wrath of God upon the nation of Israel.

(Exodus 20:3 KJV) Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

(Ezekiel 8:16 KJV) And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD'S house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.

(Ezekiel 8:18 KJV) Therefore will I also deal in fury: mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: and though they cry in mine ears with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them.

33 Mason, Manly P. Hall writes that Hiram Abiff is symbolic of the Spirit Fire of the Kundalini of Hindu mysticism. This is an extremely dangerous occult practice and shows the very real danger of coming into contact with demons during occultic initiation. Manly P. Hall writes:

Sufficient similarity exists between the Masonic CHiram and the Kundalini of Hindu mysticism to warrant the assumption that CHiram may be considered a symbol also of the Spirit Fire moving through the sixth ventricle of the spinal column. This shows the role that spiritual illumination often plays in occult initiation. occult researcher

Bob Larsen gives the following definition of Kundalini: Kundalini: According to Hindu yoga teaching, spiritual energy at the base of the spine, in the form of a serpent

(Hindu goddess Shakti), that seeks ascension to the brain to form a psychosexual union with the Hindu god Shiva, resulting in "enlightenment." Raising the Kundalini serpent fire can have extremely dangerous physical as well as spiritual results.

A man who was well qualified to speak of its dangers was an occult practitioner and Freemason - Charles W. Leadbeater, 33 . He writes the following about the Kundalini serpent fire:

One very common effect of rousing it prematurely is that it rushes downwards in the body instead of upwards, and thus excites the most undesirable passions excites them and intensifies their effects to such a degree that it becomes absolutely impossible for the man  resist them, because a force has been brought into play in whose presence he is as helpless as a swimmer before the jaws of a shark. Such men become satyrs, monsters of depravity, because they are in the grasp of a force which is out of all proportion to the ordinary human power of resistance.

Manly P. Hall, a very influential 33 Mason and author of many Masonic books, claims that Hiram Abiff was a symbol of the spirit fire of the Kundalini. (See page 3, quote 6 ). In 1985, Manly P. Hall wrote the introduction for the book, Your Amazing Mystic Powers, written by Henry C. Clausen, 33 . The book was published by The Supreme Council 33 Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry Mother Jurisdiction of the World, and at the time of its writing Henry C. Clausen was the Sovereign Grand Commander. Manly P. Hall's book that stated that Hiram Abiff was symbolic of the spirit fire of the Kundalini was recommended in a book published by Macoy Publishing and Supply Company as being, "...of special interest to Freemasons..."

Manly P. Hall certainly had the blessing of the highest levels of Freemasonry while giving deeply occultic interpretations to the Masonic rituals. This certainly shows the distinct possibility of coming into contact with deeply occultic teachings, even in the Blue Lodge of Freemasonry. Manly P. Hall also writes about the "energies of Lucifer" that the Mason has "in his hands":

When the Mason learns that the key to the warrior on the block is the proper application of the dynamo of living power, he has learned the mystery of the craft. The seething energies of Lucifer are in his hands and before he may step onward and upward, he must prove his ability to properly apply energy.

Christians need to heed the admonition of the apostle Paul.

(1 Timothy 4:1 KJV) Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

W. L. Wilmshurst, the Past Provincial Grand  Registrar (West Yorks), states the blasphemous remark that Hiram Abiff is the "Christ-principle immanent in every soul" in his book, The Meaning of Masonry.

In a word, Hiram Abiff is the Christ-principle immanent in every soul; crucified, dead and buried in all who are not alive to its presence, but resident in all as a saving force-- "Christ in you, the hope of glory." Such teaching as this makes a mockery of the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ and has the nerve to put forth Hiram Abiff of the Masonic Lodge as a "saving force." This is utter blasphemy. 32 Mason J. D. Buck says:

Few candidates may be aware that Hiram whom they have represented and personified is ideally, and precisely the same as Christ.

Jesus warned us of such false teaching.

(Matthew 24:5 KJV) For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. If you are a true child of God, there can be no partnership between yourself and a system that propagates and tolerates such things as you have read in this article. We pray that this information can be used to free good men from the deceptive clutches of the Masonic Lodge.

Freemasonry is a system that deceives its fellow Masons as to the true meaning of the symbols and rituals. The highly honored Masonic author Albert Pike plainly states this fact.

The Blue Degrees are but the outer court or portico of the Temple. Part of the symbols are displayed there to the initiate, but he is      intentionally misled by false interpretations. It is not intended that he shall understand them; but it is intended that he shall imagine he understands them. Their true explicacation is reserved for the Adepts, the Princes of Masonry.

The Scriptures say plainly what our duty as Christians is in such situations.

(2 Corinthians 6:14 KJV) Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
